Fundraising
First job after coming to live in UK permanently was fundraising for charities. Briefly worked with main biggest charities as fundraiser about 1 year, during that time managed to fundraise around 90 000 pounds. My favorite charity I worked with was Marie Curie. While working as fundraiser for Marie Curie and speaking meeting so many different nurses, decided to go for a change and start studying nursing myselft. Thats how I started working healthcare and really enjoyed it, till faced certain work issues related to neglect and safeguarding.
Healtcare (domicilary)
Working domicilary care was such great experience, because as foreigner I felt extremely lonely and ver hardly adapting to new country. Many families became close to heart and we had strong bond even after leaving my career.
However I would personally never trust any company coming my home and looking after myself or my family member, There is not enough safeguarding and people can get away with horrible neglect and safeguarding issues.
Healthcare (COVID)
After unpleasant experience with domicilary care, changed my work experience into private residential care, worked for respite.
Great team, fast and hard work, however management and career possibilities almost non existent.
After COVID decided to quit working healthcare permanently, lost hope into NHS or anyone working healthcare, especially management. From my perspective its nothing about helping or providing care to people. Its pure business and no accountability for serious safe guarding issues. Did not want to be part of wrong system.
Mentalcare
Started working mental care during COVID.
Worked with autistic adults and challenging behaviour adults, part as their support team, unfortunately needed to leave few work places after raising safeguarding.
Personally I chose working healthcare or mentalcare to help people and really enjoyed my work. However always seemed to be exactly same problem. I worked too honestly and never would steal or neglect anyone, so each time I tried to make it right, must leave my workplace.
Chartwell trust care
The only company which I worked and can praise managment for doing their work fairly. All my concerns were always investigated and treated accordingly, did not see neglect or stealing. The only company I worked, would say professionals. Left workplace, because maternity.
